This posting-every-day-in-November results in some predictable repeats of blog themes. You've got your Halloween recap, your son's birthday report, your lost-then-returned cat news, Thanksgiving . . .

Yes, lost-then-returned cat. Stella did it again. This afternoon I printed these to distribute to the neighbors:

Then Roo and I left to accompany Shmoo to a 4-H meeting, during which HPR texted me to say that Stella had returned. (Smelling of lumber.) Only gone three days this time, not three weeks. That's an improvement, but Stella, you've got to stop doing this to us! (We are so happy she's back.)

Glad she's back! Two of the last three summers, our former neighbors in Alaska had a cat go walkabout for three months. Turned up just fine when the weather turned chilly.
